Mental Health First Aid Refresher
Just like Physical First Aid, Mental Health First Aid should be treated equally, and just like Physical First Aid, training and course knowledge should be kept up to date. After 3 years since completing your initial training, the MHFA Refresher course will enable you to continue to be a certified MHFAider for a further 3 years and you will be invited to stay as a member of the Associate of Mental Health First Aiders, making sure you have access to all of the resources to support others.

Stay certified and confident in your role as an MHFAider® with our four-hour Mental Health First Aid Refresher course. Designed for those whose certification is nearing its three-year renewal, this course ensures your skills and knowledge remain current, empowering you to continue supporting others effectively.

By completing your MHFA Refresher you will ensure your training doesn't stop when the course comes to an end. We provide support for MHFAiders® – well beyond initial certification – so you are confident, empowered, and motivated to carry out your role.

The MHFA Refresher course takes four hours to complete and will enable learners to:
- -Keep their knowledge, awareness, and skills of mental health support current
- -Update their knowledge of mental health and what influences it
- -Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan
Once you have completed your MHFA Refresher course, you will be certified for three years and will be invited to become or stay a member of our Association of Mental Health First Aiders – making sure you have everything you need to feel confident when supporting others.
